2016 H-2B Employee Appreciation Day

on Dec 08 in YN News

For those of you that may be wondering, H-2B is a nonimmigrant visa program that permits us to temporarily hire foreign workers to help with our seasonal labor demands. The week before Thanksgiving, we had to say goodbye as they prepared to travel back home.

Before they left, we wanted to give them a proper send off and show them how much we appreciated their hard work during their tenure with our company. Many of these guys are from the same towns and places as some of our other workers, so most of them came here already knowing (or knowing of) each other.

No matter where they came from, we can confidently say that they all parted ways as friends. Here in the Raleigh market, the Maintenance Division brought the guys in during lunch to have a pizza party.

The Raleigh Install guys decided to hire a local favorite food truck to provide dinner for their crew members at the end of the day.
