on Oct 25 in Giving Back, YN News

On September 26, 2013, residents of the Carolina Preserve community in Cary, NC get ready for the Autumn season by hosting a “Pheasant Feather” Fall Wreath Making Project.

It was a full house for this festive event. Residents who wanted to show their Fall colors brought a full size natural twig wreath to decorate and paid $6 to participate. Yard-Nique provided everything else needed for this project, including instruction and guidance from Yard-Nique staff.

Residents exercised their creative muscles using various types of pheasant feathers, natural dried elements, nuts, pine cones and ribbon. The event included step by step instruction to follow if needed and everyone was free to just be creative using the available materials.

Participants enjoyed coffee cake and cider while creating their Fall masterpieces. The results beautiful and no two wreaths exactly alike!
