On November 8, 2013, Yard-Nique was proud to partner with Meritage Homes in their Operation Homefront initiative in which three military families received mortgage-free, brand new, homes from Meritage.
We were thrilled to be part of this undertaking and donated our services to install landscaping for the 2,066 square foot home that went to Sergeant Lynch of the US Army and his family!

Yard-Nique was heavily involved with several builders and communities for this year’s 2013 Wake County Parade of Homes! Yard-Nique staff helped to design and build the landscaping for some of the premier model homes on showcase in the Wake County area along with maintaining the models, entry ways and common areas during the shows during the month of October 2013.
We are proud to say that several of the properties we were involved in won bronze, silver, and gold awards!
It was a full house for this festive event. Residents who wanted to show their Fall colors brought a full size natural twig wreath to decorate and paid $6 to participate. Yard-Nique provided everything else needed for this project, including instruction and guidance from Yard-Nique staff.

On July 26, 2013, Yard-Nique hosted a Dish Garden class for residents of the Carolina Preserve community in Cary, NC. As part of the “Getting Their Hands Dirty” program introduced by Carolina Preserve, the event was held at the community clubhouse in Bradford Hall. With the materials provided by Yard-Nique, and a little help from our staff, residents were able to choose, design, and plant their dish gardens with various sedums and other succulent plants to create some wonderful little plantings that look great on a table top or on a window sill.
