How far would you travel to save a life?
A mile. 10 miles. Would you travel to the ends of the Earth and back?
Since 2008, Yardnique has participated in the annual Bike Multiple Sclerosis fundraiser in New Bern, North Carolina.
Over the last seventeen years, Yardnique’s founder and CEO, Brian DuMont, has grown our Bike MS team from a group of three hockey friends to a 60-person team raising tens of thousands of dollars each year for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
After seventeen annual events, fifty-seven new teammates, and over 20,000 collective miles of cycling, our team has officially raised over $500,000 for MS research.
This incredible milestone is a powerful reminder of the impact our actions can have when we work together and dedicate ourselves to serving others.
It also stands as a reminder of who we are as a company, and as a FAMILY here at Yardnique.
Our team battles through the coldest winters and the harshest summers each year to cultivate the best landscapes on earth, allowing our clients to enjoy all the beauties of nature that this world has to offer. Hopefully, one day, we’ll be able to look out onto a world with gorgeous landscapes, unforgettable views, and a cure to MS.
So, how far will we travel to save a life? Yardnique is 20,000 miles in, and we’re just getting started.
About Bike MS
Bike MS is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world. They’ve raised an incredible $1.4 billion to fuel the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s mission to cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives. While there are many rides, they all have one destination: a world free of MS.
Each year, nearly 50,000 cyclists and more than 5,000 teams ride together to change the world for people with MS. With the fundraising support of each cyclist, The National MS Society can continue their work of tackling the complex challenges of MS — from one-to-one MS Navigator support, advocacy that drives systemic change to a network of resources and information that helps people affected by MS feel more in control and less alone.
Help us support their efforts, and join us on our journey for a cure.
