Brian DuMont
Chief Executive Officer
Brian started Yardnique in 1997 while attending North Carolina State University and graduated in 1998 with a degree in Landscape Horticulture. Since, under Brian’s leadership, Yardnique has grown to become one of the largest landscape organizations in the nation.
Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Summer, and their blended family of 6 children. When Brian is not working or attending one of his children’s events, he and Summer are working on another passion - to be the next Chip and Joanna Gaines fixing up, staging, and flipping houses.
Bill Davoli
Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Bill Davoli brings over 35 years of executive leadership and a lifelong passion for the green industry. As a third-generation landscape professional, he has successfully owned and operated businesses from startups to enterprises. His unique perspective balances technical precision with strategic growth, overseeing Yardnique’s expansive operations.
He’s a recognized authority in managing complex mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of new teams. By aligning sales strategies with robust business development and market insights, he ensures Yardnique’s efficient scaling and continued exceptional value delivery.
Rob Wood
Chief Financial Officer
Rob joined the Company as its Chief Financial Officer in 2021. Rob has over 30 years of progressive financial experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis. Previously, he was the CFO/Controller at several private-equity backed companies including Stay Online, Electronic Systems Protection, Burt’s Bees and TogetherSoft. Rob began his career at Deloitte & Touche and is a graduate of Fairfield University in CT.
When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, swimming, exercising, and scuba diving.

Bryan Garruto
Vice President, Operations
Born and raised in New Jersey, Bryan has spent most of his life in the south after earning his BSBA in Marketing from LaSalle University. After starting in the industry in 2001, Bryan worked his way up to Branch Manager before joining NatureScapes as their General Manager in 2015 and now leads operations.
Bryan is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife Alison and their two daughters, Emerson and Elise.
Ashley McDermott
Vice President, Human Resources
Ashley joined Yardnique as Vice President of Human Resources in 2022 and brings over ten years of human capital management experience to the team. Ashley leads talent acquisition, career development, compensation, benefits, and diversity and inclusion efforts as Yardnique expands its operations throughout the southeast. Originally from Hartsville, SC, Ashley grew up in Raleigh, NC and graduated with a BA in Management from East Carolina University.
In Ashley’s free time, she loves to travel to new places, spend time with her family, and always enjoys a bit of retail therapy.
Don Waggoner
Director of Safety & Risk Management
With over 20 years in safety and occupational health programs, Don joined Yardnique in June 2025. Previously, he was Safety and Occupational Health Manager for the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command and Ground Safety Manager for the U.S. Air Force, retiring in June 2022 after 21 years. He holds a Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health Management from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor’s in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In his free time, Don enjoys family activities, coaching baseball, attending volleyball tournaments, and outdoor sports like golfing, skiing, and hunting.
Corey Bittner
Director of Strategic Procurement
Originally from Walden, New York, Corey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Contracting from SUNY Cobleskill in Cobleskill, New York. His first 10 years of experience in the green industry were at design/build firms in upstate New York where he designed and installed full scale projects including patios, retaining walls, pools, plantings, irrigation and landscape lighting.
Corey relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina with his wife Marcia and joined the Yardnique family during the summer of 2013. While not working, Corey enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and going to the beach with his friends.
Adam Boyette
M&A Integrations Manager
Adam joined Yardnique in 2013 and brings over 20 years of landscape and horticulture experience, primarily in commercial maintenance. He has played an integral role in Yardnique’s growth and continued expansion.
Originally from Florida, Adam moved to North Carolina in 2005 and worked for a wholesale nursery before returning to account management. Adam now lives in Florida and enjoys his time outdoors and spending time with his family.
Barrett Hines
Regional Manager - North Carolina I South Carolina I Tennessee
Barrett has been a member of Yardnique’s Landscape Maintenance division since January 2010. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from North Carolina State University. Prior to working at Yardnique, Barrett’s experience in the green industry included retail nursery sales and landscape installation.
Barrett lives in Raleigh with his wife Allison, their daughter Cameron, and the family dog Milo. He enjoys the outdoors, golfing and traveling.

With 29 years of experience and a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Auburn University, Terry Powell is a versatile leader in the green industry. His career spans everything from design and estimating to general management across landscape maintenance, golf courses, and wholesale nurseries. Terry is also a Georgia Certified Plant Professional with a category 24 pesticide license. This diverse background allows him to lead with a rare blend of technical expertise and strategic insight.
At home, Terry is a dedicated family man, celebrating 24 years of marriage to his wife, Lindsay, next month. Together, they stay busy raising their three children: Nash (17), Miranda (15), and Carson (12).
