Cycling toward a world free of MS
Since 2008, Yardnique has raised more than $400,000 toward Bike MS, the largest fundraising cycling series in the world.
New Bern, NC (September 26, 2024) Team Yardnique took part in the Bike Multiple Sclerosis fundraiser in New Bern, North Carolina on September 7-8th, 2024. Our cyclists have contributed more than $53,000 in 2024 alone, helping change the world for people with MS. We want to thank everyone who rode, donated, and made the event a huge success. Yardnique received the MS banquet’s top overall prize, and we encourage all to join our team next year to continue the good work.
Nearly twenty years ago, Brian Dumont, Yardnique’s Chief Executive Officer was inspired to ride in the National Bike MS fundraising event in New Bern. He pulled in 2 hockey friends and off they rode. Team Yardnique has been riding for the MS Society weekend event each year since 2008, averaging between 30 to 100 miles every day. In this event, our team is currently among the top 5 fundraisers. In an effort to provide resources to those living with MS and develop a treatment, we continue to raise more money and have raised over $400,000 to date.
Bike MS is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world. Each year, nearly 50,000 cyclists and more than 5,000 teams ride together to change the world for people with MS. With the fundraising support of each cyclist, The National MS Society can continue their work of tackling the complex challenges of MS — from one-to-one MS Navigator support, advocacy that drives systemic change to a network of resources and information that helps people affected by MS feel more in control and less alone. They raised an incredible $1.4 billion to fuel the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s mission to cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives. While there are many rides, they all have one destination: a world free of MS.
