Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Hope for a World Free of Cancer

Hope is like a crepe myrtle tree. Captivatingly beautiful and equally as enduring. Its flowers will brighten any landscape, and its trunk can endure even the harshest of storms.

But every flower needs nurturing. Every tree needs support. Only then can they blossom and create the best landscapes on Earth.

Hope is at its finest, at its strongest, when people come together, united by a shared goal, a shared belief, and a shared dream. And few causes bring people together than humanity’s battle against cancer.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month was in full swing in October. Health experts around the world double down on their efforts to promote education and awareness on breast cancer. Millions of dollars are raised each year for cancer research through events like The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks. Those funds also play a vital role in providing support and resources for the brave individuals who battle against breast cancer head-on every day.

Organizations outside of healthcare establishments also play a role in the battle against cancer. From brands located all over the globe to the smallest mom-and-pop shop, the world is showered in pink, planting seeds of hope in the face of humanity’s battle against cancer.

And no one plants seeds like Yardnique.

This year, Yardnique exchanged our usual orange for pink, spreading the color throughout the southeast and planting the seeds of hope and solidarity in every neighborhood we are privileged to serve.

We also took a moment to acknowledge and celebrate our Yarnique FAMILY members who courageously have faced the battle against breast cancer head-on. The strength and resilience of our survivors are an inspiration to us all and fuel our hope and belief that we will one day live in a world free of cancer.
